You’re invited to the first ever Vision Zero Art Night!

by Jessica Vargas on July 3, 2019

You’re invited to join us for a night of art, refreshments, and fun to celebrate Vision Zero! WalkDenver will be co-hosting this event with our community partners to highlight the need for safer streets and promote awareness of Vision Zero in Denver. Enjoy a range of refreshments while perusing artwork from 16 local artists as well as an interactive display of a people-friendly street. The event will be held at the McNichols Civic Center Building on Saturday, July 13 from 6-10pm and is free and open to the public. See you there!

Public art has played a major role in WalkDenver’s Vision Zero work over the last few years. From painting utility boxes on Colfax Ave depicting the stories of loved ones lost to traffic crashes to our two eye-catching murals on E Colfax & Washington and W Colfax and Meade, these art installations support a dialogue among residents, city officials, advocacy groups, and artists about our community values, and how we design our neighborhoods and streets to reflect those values.
