Join us in walking to an important public meeting on the redesign of Brighton Blvd

RiNo Street Art 3

Date: Thursday, June 18
Time: 5:00 pm

Place: Friends of WalkDenver will gather at the Sugarmill at 2461 Larimer and walk to the public meeting location (the Summit Church at 3300 Larimer). WalkDenver Board Member John Hayden will lead the walk along a route that includes some of the newest and most innovative street art in Denver.  Alleys and buildings are coming to life along Larimer making it a great place to walk.

Why: The North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC) is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, June 18 to update the community on the preliminary design of the Brighton Boulevard Redevelopment Project. The project team has been working on design options for public multi-modal right-of-way improvements between 29th Street and 44th Street. This meeting is an important opportunity to speak up in favor of designs that enhance safety and convenience for pedestrians both walking along and crossing the Boulevard.

We hope you will join us in celebrating RiNo’s street art and helping making the neighborhood more walkable!
