Cheers to walking and biking! Celebrate with the Denver Streets Partnership on December 14!

You’re invited to the Alliance Center Holiday Party!

2017 was a great year for walking and biking in Denver, and the Denver Streets Partnership wants to celebrate! Come join us at The Alliance Center’s Holiday Party on December 14, 6-10pm, for live music, a hosted bar, and a progressive farm-to-table dinner that will take you up through the halls of The Alliance Center.

Stop by the second floor to drink a toast with us and our friends from BikeDenver, Bicycle Colorado, Denver B-cycle, Denver Cruiser Ride, and the Denver Vision Zero Coalition. Here are just a few of the mobility wins we’re raising our glasses to this year:

  • Construction of 6 miles of new sidewalks in 2017 – the first time the City has ever allocated funding for building sidewalks
  • Completion of Denver’s first curb-protected bicycle lanes on 14th Street and Wynkoop
  • More than $115 million for biking and walking projects in the voter-approved GO Bond, including sidewalk projects in every council district and nearly 50 miles of protected bike lanes and neighborhood bikeways
  • Denver’s new Vision Zero Action Plan, which sets the goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries by the year 2030, and lays out nearly 70 actions the City will take over the next five years to reach this goal

These wins would not have been possible without YOU – community members who want more people-friendly streets and support the walking and biking advocacy groups that make up the Denver Streets Partnership. To show our gratitude, we’ll have some fun souvenirs to give out at the holiday party.
